In this blog post, I will show my experience with Goodbrief and the creation of my design.

The assignment:

My design:

The assignment made me think to make the logo featuring a sleek and modern lion, designed to convey realism, luxury and faithfulness.

The experience of creating the logo was really interesting and fun! I loved seeing how the design came together, especially how the sleek, modern lion captured both strength and sophistication. The use of orange made it stand out, and I think it fits well with the brand’s identity.

One of the challenges was making sure the design would work for embroidery. I had to think about how the details would translate into stitching, so I couldn’t make it too complex. I used PicsArt.

If I were to do it again, I’d keep the bold and minimalistic style the same because it really works well. However, I might experiment with different expressions or poses for the mascot to see if I could make it feel even more dynamic.

Working with PicsArt was actually super fun for me, especially since I’ve used it before for editing photos and random creative stuff. I already kind of knew my way around it, so jumping into logo design wasn’t super intimidating. It has a lot of tools that are easy to use, and I love how you can really play around with details, colors, and shapes without needing something super advanced like Photoshop.

My creative type:

" Creative StrengthsFocus and dedication, ability to achieve mastery

  • Untapped PotentialTaking creative risks, finding joy and play in the process

  • Ideal CollaboratorThe Visionary

Driven, focused, and dedicated to the creative process, the MAKER has mastered the art of manifesting ideas and visions in three-dimensional form. Society greatly benefits from the work of MAKER types, who develop the systems, structures, tools, and innovations that the rest of us rely on.

One of the hardest workers of all the types, the MAKER is almost always busy solving problems, making headway on personally meaningful goals, and completing projects. There are few things that bring you more satisfaction than applying your brain power to crafting things and making progress in any form. You tend to excel in design, crafts, architecture, and other fields that blend artistry with business and technology.

You’re driven by tangible results, and you know how to deliver. A quiet type, you enjoy collaboration but generally prefer to work alone so you can focus on your own creative process.

You know how to play the long game, and you’re not afraid to do the unglamorous legwork that goes into building something of value over time. Your gifts of focus and dedication can lead to achieving mastery and coming to be seen by others as an authority in your field.

Your biggest challenge? To connect more deeply with your intuition and emotions in order to bring forth ever more authentic and original work. Productivity is only half the equation of doing great work—the other half is inspiration. Creating the space to dream, imagine, and play can keep your work from becoming rote and mechanical.

Combine forces with the enterprising VISIONARY to take your creativity to new heights. The VISIONARY’s soaring imagination gives you permission to dream bigger and envision the impossible—and to fearlessly risk failure in order to make it a reality. "

I didn’t fully expect this result, but it makes sense! I know that I’m very determined when it comes to things I’m passionate about, and I love bringing my ideas to life, whether that’s through filming, editing, or even makeup and aesthetics. However, I also feel like I could be more open to creative risks and play, which is something this result highlighted as an area for growth.

This result also made me realize that I should push myself to experiment more and take risks in my creative process. Maybe I should try unexpected camera angles, improvise scenes, or play around with different horror styles instead of just following a structured plan.

I think creativity is the ability to turn imagination into reality : taking ideas, emotions, and inspirations and shaping them into something that others can see, hear, or feel. It’s not just about having ideas; it’s about being able to express them in unique ways.
